DRAINAGE

LATEC'S NEW MOTOR CONTROL ELECTRONICS FOR LASERPLANE ANALOG MASTS
Replacement for defective motor control and increment/decrement boards

The new Latec mast electronic upgrade replaces both the motor control board and the increment/decrement board with a single plug-in replacement board built around a sophisticated micro computer.

Electronic motor control upgrade
          Benefits
  • faster searches
  • fewer trips to the repair shop
Features

The new electronics also incorporate a serial I/O port, which introduces a host of new features to the mast. All of the control box functions can be duplicated from a dumb terminal, and several new commands have been added, such as continuous search and locked-in mode changes.

LATEC'S GPS TILE MAPPING SYSTEM
Our GPS Drainage Tile Mapping System is the only system designed for the drainage contractor's needs.

Our GPS mapping system has been specifically designed from input we received from our farm drainage contractors who wanted a simple, yet rugged way of mapping the location of drainage tile as the tile is being installed by the tile machine
Using the Trimble Ag GPS front end, the LATEC MDU (Memory Display Unit) will automatically record up to 30 maps or as much as 500 hours of GPS data. The MDU operates from 7 to 35 volts, and only displays the information you need on its easy to read alphanumeric backlit display. The waterproof MDU is then removed from the job site, and connected to a PC with Windows software, which loads any or all of the maps stored in the MDU.
Once in the computer, the maps are stored as disc files that can be added together, edited, scaled and printed. The sophisticated features are superior to many of those found in most graphics programs.

Benefits
  • tile maps are being drawn to scale while you install drainage tile, saving you time and money
  • once stored on your computer, existing lines can be easily located
  • software program provides enhanced map printouts including dimension lines, flow direction, notes and labels
  • Quick setup and easy to use

Features
  • rugged weatherproof Memory Display Unit (MDU) designed to mount on drainage machine
  • up to 500 hours of memory storage before downloading is required
  • simple to operate with only two switches which start recording tile and stops recording tile
  • the optional automatic recording feature eliminates manually pressing the record switch allowing for hands free operation
  • easy to install
Easy to use Graphic Interface
With the user tool box you can :
  • add old and missing tile lines
  • add flow direction lines
  • add latitude and longitude benchmark points
  • add actual dimensions of the tile lines and spacings
  • add notes to your maps
  • delete any or all points
  • overlay new tile lines with old maps and produce a new complete map
  • scale the tile network using the on-screen grid
  • colour code tile sizes

LATEC'S LEVELMASTER PLOW SLOPE CONTROL SYSTEM (LM1 & LM2-D)
Increase your productivity with the LevelMaster, the most versatile, efficient and rugged slope indicating system for the drainage industry!

LMI Display Box dimensions
      4.5" x 3" x 2.5" (L x H x W)

LMII-D Display Box dimensions
      6" x 3" x 2.5" (L x H x W)
VERSATILITY...
The LevelMaster displays and hydraulically controls the attitude slopes drainage plows. It can be easily moved from your drainage plow to your dozer or motor grader blade. It works on anything from 8 to 35 volts DC. These days you need to maintain your competitive and technological edge, and the LevelMaster can help.

EFFICIENT...
Having the ability to continuously monitor the actual real time grade as tile is being installed eliminates the guesswork and rework in soft bottom conditions and hilly ground.

RUGGED...
The LevelMaster system was designed for use on the job site. The connectors are weatherproof and both the display and sensor box enclosures are rugged and weatherproof.

AUTO DISPLAY INTENSITY...
LevelMaster's auto display was developed for all lighting conditions. An indicator is no good if you can't see it, right? You'll see this one even in direct sunlight. Our indicator also automatically adjusts to a "moon glow" setting when operating in the dark.
